Andrew Ross

The Heaven Exhibition 2024 features Large & Medium size works that expand on themes the Artist has been exploring since 1996.

Anonymously juried into The Permanent Collection of the Buffalo AKG-Albright Knox Gundlach Art Museum, in Honour of Seymour Knox III since 1998; the Artist’s Heaven series literally and figuratively reflects upon the diaphanous often thin veils between the Living & the Dead.  Between the Seen and the Unseen with the viewers interacting in the actual works; to complete a final vision. This is due to the work’s ability to both reflect & absorb light - creating ever changing meditative moments.

Mark Huebner

The Blurred Lines Exhibition 2024 features the linocut relief prints and attendant artwork from Mark Huebner's latest graphic novel, Off the Cuff (Blacktop Press, 2024).

At the heart of the exhibition are the bold relief prints that tell the story told in Off the Cuff. The images represent a range of characters and environments familiar to blue collar families and contemporary urban environments.  The prints illustrate the aspirations of a young, ambitious AI expert—and the messy hurdles that jeopardize the pristine future he envisions. The story and Mark's reality converged when the future of Off the Cuff itself was put on hold.

As the details for its final publication were determined, Mark explored interim art projects that significantly impacted his future projects.  A selection from these attendant works will be also be represented at the exhibition.  And after a year of delays, the book will be launched during the exhibition.  And like the hero of Off the Cuff discovers, for good or ill, one's goals are rarely achieved without unintended consequences.
