How to Apply

How do I apply and how long does it take?

We require an application form and, if you know some of our members, we ask for the support of two Club Members “Sponsors”. If you do not know two Club Members who can sponsor you, please contact us; we will be happy to discuss other options with you.

The process normally takes about month, depending on when your application is received. As soon as a decision is reached, the Club will contact you, and the Membership Secretary will provide you with information about the various arrangements available for payment of fees.

Student Members

Full time post-secondary students in any of our “LAMPS” disciplines — literature, architecture, music, visual arts or stage arts, or similar programs — are eligible to join as student members at a much reduced rate. We require a student application form, along with proof of full-time studies. Also, tell us how your program relates to one of our five artistic disciplines. If possible, we ask that you be sponsored by a Club Member who knows you well. If this is not possible, please contact the Membership Secretary to discuss other options.

Also, so that the fields can be read, please be sure that you are using Adobe Acrobat and not some other program. Complete it, save it and email it back to us with any attachments.

Your Sponsors

Please advise your sponsors once you have applied, so that they can contact the Club business office for a sponsorship application. As noted above, if you do not know Members who can sponsor you, please let us know.
